Depending on hair texture and curl pattern settling can take anywhere from 6 months to 1 year.

Très Petite Microlocks (Très Petite Microlocks= Very Small Microlocks) were created by Locks&Lashes founder B.Naomi Day. Tres Petite Microlocks are larger than SL, but smaller than traditional locs. They are maintained using the interlocking method with a crochet needle (not crochet hook). Parting grid used are clean, small boxes which allow desired fullness. Client will end up with between 200-400 TPM depending on desired size.
Microlocks are any small lock ranging between the size of a SL and a traditional loc. Microlocks can be started with 2 strand twists and braids (braidlocks), also maintained using interlocking method.
Sisterlocks ™ is a natural hair management system that creates tiny style-able locks. Sisterlocks ™ were created using a trademarked locking technique by Dr. Joanne Cornwell. Sisterlocks ™ are usually ⅓ of the size of traditional locs. These locs do not require the use of any hair care products nor is added hair required. Sisterlocks ™ are maintained using interlocking method performed with a special weaving SL tool.
